Three people were injured by gunfire in the 300 block of Greenfield Crescent overnight Friday, according to Suffolk Police spokeswoman Diana Kink.

Dispatchers received a call about shots fired at 12:53 a.m., Klink stated. When officers arrived, they found a large gathering and three injured black males.

Two victims received emergency medical assessment and treatment from Suffolk Fire and Rescue, and were ground transported to Sentara Norfolk General with non-life threatening injuries. The third person refused treatment, according to Klink.

The investigation is ongoing.
