The following Virginia Military Institute cadets from Suffolk were among the 317 cadets who graduated May 16.

Alexander G. Palagyi received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. Cadet Palagyi’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. William A. Palagyi.

Ombri D. Rivers received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a philosophy minor. Cadet Rivers’ parents are Mr. and Mrs. Douglas A. Rivers.
