To the editor:

I wanted to write and say how much I appreciated Congressman Randy Forbes’ recent Op-Ed profiling some of the wonderful small business success stories we have right here at home.

Not only did I enjoy reading the stories and being reminded of the strong community we are blessed with, but also I think it is important that these small business owners and entrepreneurs are recognized for the American heroes that they are.

They truly are the backbone of the American economy and one of our best hopes for a brighter future.

I don’t agree with Congressman Forbes on all of his stances, but he definitely has it right as far as supporting our small business community and getting Washington out of the way.

Thank you to Congressman Forbes for reminding us of the heroes we have right here at home. It is wonderful that we can count on our congressman to fight for our small businesses, our local entrepreneurs and our communities.
