Firefighters responded to Creekside Elementary School on Saturday for a report of a child stuck in mud.
Officers were dispatched to the school after a passerby reported seeing a 6-year-old child at the corner of the school parking lot, who said his 7-year-old brother was stuck in the mud, according to city spokesman Tim Kelley.
Officers found one child stuck in waist-deep mud at a construction site at the school, Kelley said. Firefighters responded and pulled the child out. Neither child suffered any injuries, and both were transported home.
Kelley said no charges have been filed at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
