A 14-year-old girl who had been missing since 9 p.m. Wednesday was located about 11:25 a.m. Thursday, according to Suffolk Police spokeswoman Diana Klink.

Devyn Sky Butler was located at a juvenile friend’s house in the Kempton Park neighborhood in North Suffolk, Klink stated in a news release.

Before she was reported missing, Devyn was last seen leaving her residence in the Townpoint Road area. Suffolk Police, after issuing an appeal for information, thanked the media and public for their assistance.
