To the editor:

The roadwork between Lee Farm Lane and Bennett’s Pasture Road has been going on for months and months.

The project consists of two intersections, pipes and concrete gutters. How long can it take?

Also, there appears to be a turning lane for a private residence! I don’t get it.

This week there were miles and miles of back-ups. People living in North Suffolk probably thought they were getting away from traffic jams when they moved here. But it is not so.

This project is making “Gone With the Wind” look like a short movie. It’s got to be the slowest highway project in Tidewater.

No, there’s always the Downtown Tunnel!
