Renita Walker Pittman, 47, of 6845 Crittenden Road, Suffolk, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at her residence. She was a native of Portsmouth and the daughter of Nathaniel C. Walker and Linda P. Walker.

She was a 1986 graduate of Western Branch High School. Renita retired from Newport News Shipbuilding after 24 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kevin A. Pittman Sr.; daughter, Tamesha L. Walker, of Portsmouth; stepdaughter, Alicia Glover, of Woodbridge; son, Kevin A. Pittman Jr., of Suffolk; sisters, Andrea Walker and Tresa Eaton, of Chesapeake; brother, Rashel Williams, of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Cortez Walker, Chaniya Jones and Kendall Pittman; maternal grandmother, Lucille Hatton, of Federal Way, Wash.; mother and father-in-law, Hosea and Willie M. Pittman-Scott; special friend, Monica Davis; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at Christian Home Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Bernard Thomas. Interment will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
