A Suffolk man died Sunday evening in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Interstate-664.

It happened southbound at 8:54 p.m., according to state police spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Anaya.

She said the driver of the 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when he cut in front of another driver at the exit ramp at College Drive, lost control, hit the guardrail and was thrown from the motorcycle.
