A free hunter safety course required by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries to hunt small and big game in Virginia will be offered by the Box Elder Hunt Club on Aug. 29.

The course will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and lunch will be provided. Seating is limited to 50 people, and they must pre-register at register-ed.com/events/view/66179.

The Box Elder Hunt Club is located at 3733 Manning Road.
