Elizabeth “Betty” Grant, 70, passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2015. Born on March 20, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Verona Beth “Betty” Delpiero.

Mrs. Grant is survived by her husband, William “Buddy” Grant; her daughter, Karen S. Vigil and husband, Michael; her son, David Sadler and his wife, Paula; her brother, Victor Delpiero Jr. and wife, Judy; three grandchildren, Matthew Vigil, Allison Vigil, Nicole Sadler, and nieces and nephews.

Betty was a graduate of Suffolk High School, class of 1963.

She was a gifted artist, specializing in ceramics. She enjoyed scrapbooking and was passionate about life, the life of her children, grandkids and her dogs. She was a people person. She loved everyone she met and was the life of every event.

The family will receive friends this evening Aug. 18, 2015, at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home Suffolk Chapel, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434 from 6 to 8 p.m. No funeral service will be held; the family will fulfill her wish of cremation.
