Kangaroo robbery suspects sought

Suffolk police are asking for help from the public in identifying two men who robbed a Kangaroo gas station on Wilroy Road early Saturday morning.

Emergency dispatchers received a call about the robbery at 1:39 a.m. An employee told police two black males wearing masks had entered the store and that at least one of them had displayed a weapon. The subjects demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency, according to Suffolk spokeswoman Diana Klink.

One of the suspects was described as about 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 150 pounds and 19 to 25 years old. He was wearing a black hoodie and face mask. The second suspect was described as older and heavyset and also wearing a face mask.
