Harold Howell, 90, passed away Sept. 19, 2015. He was born in Wilson County, N.C., to the late Jethro and Ila Howell. Harold is predeceased by a son, Kenny Howell.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Anne; brother, Milford Howell (Nellie); sons, Harold Glenwood Howell (Sandra Lee), Eddie T. Abrams (Pam); daughters, Gloria Jean Howell, Linda Borrini (Michael), Ila Schmeling (Jimmy), Anne Brinkley (Cory); sister-in-law, Lovey Lyons; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at 1 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, with Dr. Thurman Hayes Jr. officiating.
