To the editor:

I have two teen friends who attend King’s Fork High School. They both have shared what happened at their school on the anniversary of 9/11. There was no moment of silence, nor any message commemorating that sad day at the school.

I could not believe this when they shared it with friends. My question is “Why not?” I know I am not alone in wondering why nothing would have been done to commemorate this important date.

What kind of school would do this?
