Mary Effa Savage Mizelle passed away Oct. 2, 2015. Born in Suffolk in 1917 to Cornelius and Hattie Savage, she was married to the late Roy C. Mizelle. She is survived by her children, Bob and Judy Mizelle and Betty and Jim Rissmiller; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as sister-in-law Almeda McBride; numerous cousins, nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by two brothers, Floyd and Edgar Savage, and one great-grandchild.

Mary Effa was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Christian Church, retired from Obici Hospital after many years of service, and was an accomplished seamstress.

A celebration of her life will be at Bethlehem Christian Church on Oct. 4, 2015, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Matt Winters and the Rev. James Rissmiller officiating.
