Ronda Ann Mayberry, 66, passed away on Oct. 18, 2015, after a long struggle with cancer. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Suffolk and worked for Tidewater Occupational Center for many years prior to moving to South Carolina. Ronda is predeceased by her father, Ralph W. Mayberry.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Mary E. Mayberry, of Goose Creek, S.C., formerly of Suffolk; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Reynolds, of Goose Creek, S.C., and Barbara S. Mayberry, of Concord, N.C.

She also had two nephews, Wes Colerider, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Mark Mayberry, of Concord, N.C.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at 3 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, with the Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and burial will be at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
