Robbery investigated

Suffolk police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the BB&T bank depository located in the 1500 block of North Main Street in downtown Suffolk Wednesday evening.
The incident was reported at 8:10 p.m. The victim said two black male subjects approached him while he was in his vehicle, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Two other individuals were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The subjects fled on foot after receiving an undetermined amount of cash as well as a second victim’s purse and cellphone. There were no injuries.
The first subject was described as wearing dark clothing, a black ski mask with red and white markings and a pink bandanna. The second subject was described as wearing a puffy green camouflage coat and black ski mask.
