Suffolk police are investigating after a 3-year-old boy was found wandering alone on Bridge Road Friday morning.

A woman spotted the child, contacted police at 11:07 a.m. and stayed with the toddler until officers arrived, according to a city press release.

Officers found that the child had wandered away from the Antioch Pre-School & Academy, Southside Center, in the 4200 block of Crowdy Blvd. He was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing at this time, according to the release.
