Police investigate robbery

Suffolk police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Wendy’s restaurant located in the 6200 block of College Drive early Sunday morning.
Emergency Communications was notified at 2:46 a.m. regarding an incident where a single male suspect armed with a handgun reportedly confronted employees in the parking lot, forced them back into the store, took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot. None of the employees were injured in the incident.
The subject was described as a tall black male, wearing a ski mask, all dark or black clothing and white sneakers.
