Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance locating a missing man who disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

Quantez Demont Russell, 30, was last seen leaving Suffolk Wednesday and was believed to be heading to Newport News, according to a city press release. The vehicle he was driving was found in Newport News on Thursday with some personal items inside.

“At this time there are suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr. Russell’s disappearance,” a city press release stated.

Russell is described as black, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 180 pounds, with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
