James Faulk Jr., 72, of Greenfield Crescent, Suffolk, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at Consulate Health Care in Windsor. He was a native of North Carolina and the son of the late James Faulk Sr. and Rosa Smith Faulk.

He was a graduate of Southwestern High School. James was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and a former member of the usher ministry.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sadie Parker Faulk; two daughters, Devona Eloise Faulk, of Accokeek, Md., and Jacquelyn Denise Brown (Kevin), of Suffolk; one son, James Lamont Faulk, of Suffolk; four sisters, Doris Sumner, of Franklin, Rosa Faulk, Evelyn Faulk, both of New York, and Carrie Lee Herbert, of Norfolk; one brother, Benjamin Faulk, of New York; two grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Clara Ricks; and one brother-in-law, the Rev. Larry Parker (Loretta), of Suffolk; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at Piney Grove Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Larry Parker. Interment will be in Piney Grove Church Cemetery.
