Elmyra Belinda Wyatt, 63, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 23, 2015.  She was born in Portsmouth to the late Nathaniel Wright Byrd Jr. and Daisy Ann Barnes Byrd. Belinda was a retired L.P.N., having worked at Obici Hospital and Care Advantage in Franklin. She was a member of Suffolk Church of God and held numerous positions throughout the church during her life.

Belinda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Terri Lynn and Del Thorne; grandchildren, Kayla, Alex and Hunter Thorne, all of Charlottesville; sister and husband, Gloria and Michael Worrell, of Franklin.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Suffolk Church of God, 207 Kilby Ave., Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Dwayne Mullins officiating. A private inurnment will be held at Holly Lawn. The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Gloria and Michael Worrell.
