Area residents can now enjoy “Any Meal. Any Time” with the opening of a Huddle House restaurant in Suffolk at 2872 Pruden Blvd., adjacent to Miller’s Convenience Store.
The restaurant will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Open 24 hours a day, Huddle House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. The menu offers a mix of Southern-inspired comfort food, including eggs and hash browns, grits, waffles and omelets, all made to order.
Other diner-style favorites include burgers, sandwich platters and country fried steak.
“We saw a need in Suffolk for a comfortable, local place for people who crave Southern, home-style food,” said Steve Felson, Huddle House franchise area director. “It’s an exciting time to be a Huddle House franchisee, because we can satisfy that need.”
“The Huddle House menu appeals to all ages and demographics,” Suffolk Mayor Linda T. Johnson stated in a press release. “We welcome Huddle House to Suffolk and are pleased they are expanding their brand.”
Huddle House began in 1964 and now has more than 400 restaurants open or under development nationwide and is on track to open more than 100 new restaurants during the next three years.
The franchise growth is across a range of market sizes, including urban areas, small towns, travel centers and convenience sites.
