Henry Thomas “Teenie Weenie” Lowther, 67, of 8970 Pineview Road, Suffolk, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, at Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. He was a native of Nansemond County and the son of the late Ella Louise Wilson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael D. Wilson.

He was a graduate of Southwestern High School. He retired as a pipefitter from the Norfolk Naval Air Station. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Lowther was a member of Corinth Chapel U.C.C. where he was a trustee.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Irene Lowther; two sons, LaKeith D. Lowther and LeKen D. Lowther; one sister, Gaynell Almond (Larry), of Suffolk; two brothers, Lee A. Wilson, of Franklin, and Stanley P. Wilson, of Suffolk; two uncles, Rolenzie Lowther and Albert Lowther (Gladys); sister-in-law, Odell White (Joe); brother-in-law, Thurman Langston; one goddaughter, Tonya Whitley; little princess, Nyima Wiggins, Gracyn Imin; best friend, Donald Howell; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at Corinth Chapel U.C.C., 7945 Corinth Chapel Road, Suffolk. Interment will be in the Howell Family Cemetery, Pittmantown Road, Suffolk. Professional services with dignity entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home.
