The Western Branch High School band will usher in the holidays tonight.

Approximately 100 students will participate in the band’s annual winter concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at Western Branch High School, 1968 Bruin Place, in Chesapeake. The public is invited to the free show.

Three groups — including an upper-level band, a symphonic band and a percussion ensemble — will perform holiday classics, said band director Jason Taylor.

“We would love to have a packed house to support the students,” Taylor said.
