Ronald Orion Turner Jr., 34 went to be with the Lord on Jan. 1, 2016. He was predeceased by his mother Judith C. Turner, grandmother Sarah T. Hampton, and grandparents Catherine Cralle and Howard Cralle Jr.

Ronald was a member of Wilroy Baptist Church and was a resident at The Neighbor’s Place in Zuni.

“Ron Ron” is survived by his father Ronald O. Turner Sr., and grandfather Ray Hampton, both of Suffolk; aunts Sharon Peelen and husband John of Suffolk, Rebecca Parker and husband Ronnie of Gates, N.C.; uncle Howard P. Cralle III of Suffolk and numerous cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, in Holly Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Robert Carpenter. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk.

A special thank you to all of Ronald’s caregivers at The Neighbor’s Place. He was blessed to be a part of the extended family there, where he was loved and taken care of, for the last two and a half years of his life.
