Police seek ‘skimming’ suspects

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying two suspects involved in serial credit card skimming larcenies across the Hampton Roads area.

The white male and white female in their late 40s to late 50s were seen using multiple stolen credit card numbers to purchase gift cards at the Walmart locations on North Main Street and in Franklin on Dec. 15, 2015, according to a city press release.

Both were wearing dark-rimmed glasses, according to the press release.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
