The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team rallied in the second half of its home game on Tuesday against Cape Henry Collegiate School, then it outscored the Lady Dolphins 14-2 in overtime to win 67-55.

Senior Harper Birdsong was one of four Lady Saints to score in double figures, finishing with a team-high 24 points to go with 10 rebounds and three assists.

Junior Kelly Hogan continued her remarkable play as of late by producing 16 points, 18 rebounds and four assists. Senior Caroline Hogg contributed 15 points, 12 boards, eight blocks and two assists, and junior Lindsay Knierbein added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Nansemond-Suffolk (11-2) visits Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School on Tuesday.
