Two school buses — one from Isle of Wight County Schools, the other from Isle of Wight Academy — clipped mirrors as they traveled in opposite directions on Bowling Green Road near Windsor Thursday morning.

There were no injuries reported from the 29 Windsor Elementary School students or the driver, though the bus received minor damage, said Lynn Briggs, spokeswoman for Isle of Wight County Schools. She said parents whose children were on the bus were notified.

Jack Reynolds, assistant head of school for Isle of Wight Academy, said nobody was hurt on that bus as far as he knew, but parents had been contacted.

Briggs said the IWCS bus was able to complete its run after repairs but ran about 15 minutes behind schedule.
