Suffolk police are investigating an alleged forcible sodomy between two juveniles in the downtown area.

City spokeswoman Diana Klink stated in an email Tuesday that officers responded to the call on Monday. The alleged incident had occurred Saturday evening.

The alleged incident involves a male juvenile offender, age 16, and a female juvenile victim, age 8, she said. The two are known to one another, Klink added.
