Eva Evelyn Hale was born on June 27, 1925, to the late Lena and John Henry Williams.  Eva departed this life on Jan. 20, 2016, at Autumn Care Nursing Facility in Raeford, N.C.

She leaves to cherish many memories: her loving son, Larry (Vanessa), of Fayetteville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Derrick (Jo’el), of Hampton; Dametria, of Fayetteville, N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Breanna Hale, of Anchorage, Alaska, Derrick Hale Jr., of Hampton, and Destiny Hale, of Portsmouth.

A celebration of life will be at noon, Jan. 30, 2016, at Poplar Run Baptist Church, Suffolk. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
