Stella T. Jackson, age 61, of Suffolk, transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at her home. She was born to the late Eucless and Alma Bernice Walker on March 20, 1953. She was an active member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, Suffolk.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a daughter, Janelle Harrison, of Smithfield; two grandsons, Jamal Jackson and Michal Harrison, all of Smithfield; sister, Linda D. Eley, of Suffolk; a devoted caretaker and sister-in-law, Ethel B. Taylor, of Suffolk; sisters-in-laws, Delphine Taylor, of Suffolk, and Paulette Taylor, of Bowie, Md.; a devoted friend, Orlando Dix, of Baltimore, Md., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at Little Bethel Baptist Church, Suffolk, by Pastor Glenn Lyttle Sr. Public viewing will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Shivers Funeral Chapel, Smithfield. For more information, visit www.shiversfuneralchapel.com.
