Wilbur B. Watts, 61, of Reno St., Suffolk, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at his residence. He was a native of Norfolk and the son of Melvin Watts and Beulah C. Watts.

He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Terry’ne Askew Watts; three daughters, Vita Watts, of Suffolk, Asheema Wilkins, of Smithfield, and Ashley Askew, of Suffolk; two sons, Lashay Franklin, of Tampa, Fla., and Tony Johnson, of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; foster sister, Evelyn C. Brown (Frederick), of North Dinwiddie; mother-in-law, Mary Askew; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at East End Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Jarvis Jones. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
