Lisa A. Broadnax, 57, of Suffolk, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Franklin and the daughter of Jesse Lee Broadnax Sr., of Portsmouth, and Fannie A. Bowers, of Suffolk.

She attended Portsmouth City Schools. She was the owner of Lisa’s Truck Company.

She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Jesse Lee Broadnax Sr.; stepfather and mother, Clifton F. and Fannie A. Bowers; brother, Jesse Lee Broadnax Jr., of Portsmouth; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at East End Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Wayne Faison. Interment will be in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends at 605 Hollywood Ave., Suffolk. Professional services have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
