Edith Boyce Wilkins

Edith Boyce Wilkins, 93, passed away Feb. 11, 2016. She was born in Isle of Wight County, the daughter of the late Milton and Ola Boyce. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas E. Wilkins; son, Charles E. Wilkins; daughters, Barbara Brandon, Frances W. Saunders and her husband, Thomas R. Saunders Sr.; and two grandsons. Edith formerly worked for A&T Peanut Company and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Katherine Powell (W. Rufus Powell); eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Savilla Wilkins; and a niece.

She will be deeply missed by one and all.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with the Rev. Matt Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
