Mr. Phillip Joyner Jr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Georgia Regents Medical Center.

Mr. Joyner, a U.S. Army veteran, was a retired certified air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 47 years, Bessie Jacobs Joyner; three children, Quintony (Tiniya) Joyner, Phillip R. Joyner III, Tamla R. Joyner; four grandchildren; sister, Gloria Rutledge; brother, Kelly Joyner; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at First Baptist Church, 112 Mahan St. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Condolences to the Joyner family may be extended to www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
