Edward “Frank” Franklin Newsome, 37, passed away Jan. 20, 2016, in Waipahu, Hawaii. He was born in Suffolk, the son of Deborah J. Dalton and the late Edward H. Newsome. Frank graduated from Lakeland High School in 1996. On April 16, 1997 he selflessly donated a kidney to his mother. He later went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Lockheed Martin.

Frank is survived by his wife of 14 years, Mullika Newsome; mother and stepfather, Deborah and Donald Dalton; stepmother, Pam Newsome; half-sister, Beth Evans; stepsister, Tammy J. Gibson (Robert); half-brothers, Joseph P. Newsome, Christopher Scott Newsome, Todd Newsome (Vickie); step-brother, David Lee Joiner (Faith); grandmother, Martha “Tippy” Worrell; mother- and father-in-law, Edward J. and Khanittha McRae; brother-in-law, Michael A. McRae; sister-in-law, Tattanapat Ampairat; grandparents-in-law, Dach and Nittha Ampairat; uncle and aunt, Perry F. Worrell Sr. and Lorraine Worrell; cousin, P.J. Worrell. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Joseph Franklin Worrell Jr.

A celebration of life service with military honors will be held Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.
