Recently, I held a book signing at the North Suffolk Library and a slide presentation, discussion, and book signing at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church. Both events were an overwhelming success.

I am so pleased that my friends, former schoolmates, former church members and people of the various communities in Suffolk came out to greet me as well as purchase the book. I am deeply grateful.

I am elated at the community’s reaction to the book, “Resilience in the Face of Adversity: A Suffolkian’s Life Story.” Sales were good, and I appreciate those who braved the cold weather and rain to meet me and hear my life story.
