Shaherah S. Porter-Perry

Shaherah S. Porter-Perry, 38, of Leigh Choice Court, Owings Mills, Md., was the daughter of Calvin A. Porter and Clara Darden. She was a graduate of Nansemond River High School and was employed with PDI Medical and was a member of Empowerment Temple.

Besides her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Walter Perry III, of Baltimore, Md.; daughter, Abrea J. Perry, of Bowie, Md.; three sons, Walter J. Perry Jr. and Derrick L. Perry, both of Baltimore, Md., and Antonio J. Perry, of Louisiana; sister, Angelia E. Gilchrist (Donald); four brothers, Brian D. Porter (Joy), Calvin Porter Jr., Derek Porter and Byron Porter; special grandmother, Marion Barnes; mother-in-law, Darlene M. Perry; father-in-law, Walter J. Perry Sr.; brother-in-law, LaMont E. Perry; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. March 5, 2016, at Union Baptist Missionary Church, 5414 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, and she will be laid to rest in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Condolences to the Porter-Perry family may be extended to www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
