Lady Cougars edge Lady Saints

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team lost 6-5 to The Collegiate School on Friday at the Dinwiddie Sports Park.

The Lady Saints out-hit the Lady Cougars 12-7 but could not string enough consecutive hits together.

NSA (1-1) was set to play Fuqua School and St. Margaret’s School on Saturday at the Dinwiddie Sports Park and will host Brunswick Academy on Monday.
