IWA students win forensics medals

Twelve Isle of Wight Academy students won medals at the annual Association of Virginia Academies Forensics Meet on March 18 at Southampton Academy.

In the novice division, IWA won seven out of a possible 37 medals. As a result, the school won third place in both the novice and varsity divisions in the sweepstakes competition among the six participating independent schools.

  • Serious poetry: Second place, Betsy Pollard

Varsity Division
