Lady Saints avenge loss to Cougars

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team wrote a winning story in its rematch with The Collegiate School in Richmond on Friday.
The Lady Cougars had dealt the Lady Saints a 6-5 defeat on March 18, but this time, NSA claimed a definitive 10-1 victory.
Across its three blowout victories this week, Nansemond-Suffolk produced 65 hits and 56 runs. It generated 18 of those hits on Friday and had zero errors against The Collegiate School.
Lady Saints sophomore Dani Goodman was 3-for-4, eighth-grader Addy Greene was 3-for-4 and senior Brooklyne Carr was 2-for-3 with a home run.
NSA sophomore Emerson Puzey recorded the win in the circle, improving to 3-0 on the season.
The Lady Saints (6-3) host Portsmouth Christian School on Tuesday.
