Isabella (Jones) Croston was born on March 14, 1922, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Isabella Frances (Parker) Jones and Carey Webster Jones. She was the wife of the late Rev. Nathaniel Moses Croston Sr.

On Tuesday, April 26, 2016, God called and Isabella answered.

She leaves to celebrate her life: her daughters, Valerie and Deborah; her sons, Cordell (Barbara), Stephen, Paul Sr. (Lorraine), Jerrick Sr. (Jacquelyn), and Mark Sr. (Brenda); a devoted daughter-in-law, Joann; her grandchildren, Kimberly (Jerome Coleman), Nathaniel III, Dustin (Shannon), Jerrick Jr., Kristine (Joshua Coates), Michael, Candace, Mark Jr.; two by marriage, Juliette Thompson and Antonio Redmond. Two of her children, Nathaniel Jr. and Pamela, and one grandson, Paul Jr., have preceded her in death. Great-grandchildren Brianna, Nia, Alyssa, Jerrick III, Joshua and Kaiden, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive her.

Celebrations of her life will be held at East End Baptist Church, Suffolk, at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016, and at Grace Baptist Church of Germantown, Philadelphia, Pa., at 10 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2016. Harris Funeral Home, 685 Carolina Road, has been entrusted with the celebration of life service in Suffolk, and Marcel Dublin Funeral Service, 7224 Ogontz Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19138 has been entrusted with the celebration of life service in Pennsylvania.
