One injured in home invasion

Suffolk police are investigating a home invasion robbery that happened shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday.
The incident was reported at 1:07 a.m., according to a city press release. The residents of a home in the 2300 block of Godwin Boulevard said four black males wearing dark clothing forced entry in the residence armed with handguns. Several adult family members were home at the time, and one adult male suffered minor injuries.
Items stolen included a Sony Playstation and an undetermined amount of cash. The subjects left the scene by unknown means of travel, according to the release.
