LaTasha Veronica Dickens-Williams was born on Feb. 28, 1978, in Suffolk. Sadly, she gained her wings on June 19, 2016, and reunited with her son, Brycen Ty’meir Williams, who preceded her in death.

LaTasha leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband, Toney Williams; three daughters, Harmoni Jean, Shanell Mosley (Scottie) and Shanay Williams; three sons, Madsen Jean Jr., Semaj Cobb and Derrell Williams; loving parents, Eric and Patricia Porter; grandmother, Delores Driver; four grandchildren, Sinia Mosley, Malaysia Edwards, Armani Joseph and Chase Rouse; two sisters, Melisa Boone (Troy) and Whitney Wilson (Donald); one brother, Toreanno Marshall (LaCretia); four sisters-in-law, Sandra Johnson, Janice and Mary Williams and Debra James (Willie); five brothers-in-law, Charles, Jeremiah and Jeremy Williams, Jose and Landell Williams; two godchildren, Jayla Knight and Alaysia Riddick; godparents, Elder Patrick Batts Sr. (Yvonne); godbrother, Patrick Batts Jr. (Archinda); godsister, Yolanda Batts; and special friends, Marquisha Barner, Linda Coombe, Christina Grady, Rosetta Robertson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

A visitation will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m., and a wake service will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m., on Friday, June 24, 2016, at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at New Mt. Joy Food For Living Ministries Church, and she will be entombed at Carver Memorial Cemetery. The funeral procession will depart at noon from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Porter, 921 Lake Kennedy Drive.
