Mr. Wilson Eugene “WW” Wright Sr. departed this earthly life on June 25, 2016. He was a native of Suffolk and retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard Shop II.

His survivors include his wife, the Rev. Medicia M. Wright; a son, Wilson Wright Jr. (Julia); two sisters; one brother; three grandchildren; and a host of other family members.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Diamond Grove Baptist Church, Crittenden Road, Suffolk. The Rev. Lillard, pastor. Burial will be in Albert G.
