Samuel Anderson Pylan, 90, died at Consulate Nursing Home in Windsor on Sunday, July 3, 2016.

Born Aug. 17, 1925, he was a lifelong resident of Suffolk. “S.A.,” as most people knew him, retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation. He was a veteran and a member of Suffolk Christian Church.

We would like to thank the staff at Consulate Nursing Home as well as Ashley and Tiffany with Medi Hospice who gave him such wonderful care, respect and dignity.
