Cherry Wiggins, 94, transitioned on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at her residence, 539 Chisholm Lane, Suffolk. Ms. Wiggins was a native of Nansemond County. She was predeceased by her parents, the late Blannie Ramsey and Eugene Boone.

A funeral will be held at Zion Christian Church, 5200 Quaker Drive, Suffolk, VA 23437, officiated by the Rev. Tony Boone of Faith AME, Laurel, Md., on Monday, July 11, 2016, at 1 p.m. Interment will be held at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery, 1421 King’s Fork Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. Professional services have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
