To the editor:

In your editorial, “You can be both,” published on July 17, you indicated that both black men shot by police recently in Baton Rouge, La., and Minneapolis, Minn., were unarmed.

This statement was totally wrong. Both men had weapons in their possession.

In this day and time, the media should be responsible for reporting true facts. It’s this type of reporting that stirs up problems.
