Mildred Willie Evans transitioned peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 19, 2016.

She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted sons: James Lee Willie, B.J. Willie, and Antonio Lee Willie Sr. (Barbara), all of Suffolk.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 728 Effingham St., Portsmouth, officiated by Pastor Leroy Hill Jr. She will be laid to rest in Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery, Suffolk.
