The youth at Wilroy Baptist Church went on their annual mission trip to Bland the week of July 18-22.

While there, they scraped and stained the exterior of a log cabin church for a congregation of elderly people. They also unloaded furniture from the Blanket America Ministries truck and delivered it to people in need in the area.

They held a worship service and performed interpretative dance at the Kissito HealthCare and Rehab Center in Bland and also worked at the Bland Mission Center by sorting and getting school supplies ready to distribute to needy children in the area.

The group will be working at the Salvation Army soup kitchen serving meals on Aug. 6. If you would like to join them, call the church office at 539-5658.
